Architecture MasterPrize honors top buildings and firms of 2026

The Architecture MasterPrize has revealed the award recipients of its 2026 edition. Winners were honored across categories of Architectural Design, Firm of the Year, Architectural Products, and Architectural Photography.

Entries were judged on design excellence, originality, function, and sustainability. Winners will be honored at a gala at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao next month.

“This year’s top awards went to a presidential library that disappears into its landscape, a timber office for a wind-energy company, and a park that cleans Bangkok’s water,” said David Teravagimov, Managing Director of the Architecture MasterPrize. “They are very different buildings with one thing in common: Each gives something back to the place it stands in.”

The top titles were as follows:

Architectural Design of the Year
Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library in Medora, North Dakota, by Snøhetta
